INFUSION is an art book in the form of an artist’s notebook, featuring 18 original watercolors, a text on color by artist NATHALIE GRENIER and a narrative. It was designed for an exhibition at the Domaine de la Richardière in Lhomme, France (artist’s residence).
According to an invitation received by handwritten letter from the event’s organizers, 18 artists of all ages and nationalities who completed an Artist’s residency between 2017 and 2024 at the estate produced a free watercolor monochrome and a swatch trace of the color used.
Nathalie and Marc Dupont entrusted freelance graphic designer Mahaut Clément with the task of designing this edition as an artist’s notebook, for sale, highlighting the color and fraternal spirit of the Artist residency at La Richardière. She chose Materica Limestone Ivoire 180g paper for the print and Materica Limestone cobalt 360g paper for the embossed cover.

Infusion is a carefully crafted book, and the choice of Materica paper was the key to sublimating its tactual and visual distinctiveness. So well-designed, compact and precious in the hand, it commits the user to keeping it for a long time, and respecting it as a unique artist’s book. It’s a reference work for the Domaine de la Richardière, which stands for sustainable creation, beauty and excellence.
