La Richardière
A residency created by and for artists
La Richardière is a residency designed for artists — visual artists, composers, writers, screenwriters, actors, photographers, theatre directors, filmmakers, musicians and other creative professionals.
Each accommodation is spacious, fully independent and conducive to creative focus, thanks to the quality of the silence, the estate’s setting in the heart of nature, and the warm, thoughtful welcome that defines life at La Richardière.
Artists can book their preferred dates without going through a formal application process, for stays of one month or more. Each residency includes a warm welcome, the preparation of a workspace tailored to individual needs, support for specific requirements, and a reassuring sense of proximity and care — while preserving the independence and freedom needed to work.

18 watercolours by 18 artists who stayed at La Richardière and responded to the editorial invitation.
Infusion is passed on to other artists through the purchase of the notebook. A 2025 edition will be produced in the same format.

Rates
Artist residencies are offered on a rental basis, at a highly preferential rate, subject to acceptance of the project motivating the stay.
- October to April: €900/month
- May to June and September: €1,100/month
- July and August: €1,600/month
- Rate for one or two people
- Additional linen charge for more than two guests
Mandatory additional charges
- Tourist tax: €0.55/day/person
- Electricity charged according to meter usage for heating from September to April
