Le Coteau is full of charm and natural light.
Its carefully chosen colours, vintage furniture, comfortable bed that can be arranged as either a king-size bed or two separate singles, modern well-equipped kitchen, abundant light and cement tiles in the bathroom all come together to create an atmosphere where old and new blend beautifully, with light playing a central role.
For artist residencies of one month, Le Coteau can be adapted and arranged according to the artist’s needs and wishes.
It is a space for every imaginable project — including doing nothing at all.

Electric heating. For stays of 7 nights or more, electricity is charged separately according to meter usage.

An additional €20 linen fee applies for the sofa bed or a child’s bed.

Guest access
There are no fences for people or animals, only hedges.
The property is close to the village of Lhomme for local shops, and also near La Chartre-sur-le-Loir.
A car is useful for greater independence, but not essential.
Bicycles are available to borrow on site. Shops can be found in Lhomme.
Located between Brive and Lhomme, near the D304, the estate is hidden behind a screen of hedges and a small woodland.
Sheltered from view and away from the noise of everyday life.

For more than two guests, an additional linen fee of €20 per person applies for the entire stay.
Children:
Some areas are not fully suitable for very young children. Railings and openings have intentionally been designed without bars in order to let in light and allow artists to move equipment easily.
Pets welcome:
There are animals living on the estate. To make sure our four-legged companions will get along, please contact us before your stay. We also ask guests to be mindful of cleanliness both indoors and outdoors.
Facilities:
A shared laundry room is available with full cleaning equipment, as well as a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.
We ask guests to remain fully independent in their living and studio spaces and to leave them as they found them.
Some areas are shared, including the parking area, laundry room and outdoor spaces.
